Sweet Orange - The sweet orange was cultivated in China for many centuries before it was introduced into Europe, most likely during the early fifteenth century.

Update on Use of Swingle Citrumello Rootstock - By 1990, more than 50% of the citrus trees being propagated in Florida were on this rootstock and that is unchanged.

The Satsuma Tangerine - The world's largest satsuma industry is located in southern Japan where climatic conditions are favorable for the production of early ripening satsuma tangerines of high quality.

Nova Tangelo - The Nova is a hybrid of Clementine tangerine crossed with Orlando tangelo which was released in 1964 by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

Orlando Tangelo - The Orlando tangelo is a cross between Dancy tangerine and a Duncan grapefruit which was made by W. T. Swingle of the U.S.D.A. in 1911.

Sunburst Tangerine - Sunburst is a cross between the two citrus hybrids Robinson and Osceola.

Ambersweet Orange - The Ambersweet , while classified as an orange for both fresh and processing purposes, is actually a rather complex citrus hybrid.

Dancy Tangerine - Dancy is one of the oldest tangerine varieties known in Florida. The variety originated in 1867 from a seed of Moragne tangerine in the grove of Colonel F. L. Dancy of Orange Mills.

Fallglo Tangerine - The citrus hybrid Fallglo is the result of a 1962 cross between Bower and Temple made by P. C. Reese.

Minneola Tangelo - The Minneola tangelo is a Duncan grapefruit x Dancy tangerine hybrid released in 1931 by the United States Department of Agriculture Horticultural Research Station in Orlando.

Murcott - The actual origin of the Murcott is unknown but is most likely a tangor which is a cross between a tangerine and a sweet orange.

Page Citrus Hybrid - While the Page is considered an orange by some, it is actually a hybrid of Minneola tangelo and Clementine mandarin.

Robinson Tangerine - The Robinson is one of four citrus hybrids originating from a Clementine x Orlando cross made by Gardner and Bellows at the United States Department of Agriculture Station in Orlando in 1942.

Temple Tangor - The Temple tangor is most often referred to as an orange, but there is ample evidence to suggest it is actually a tangerine-orange hybrid, or tangor.

Tahiti Lime -  The `Tahiti' lime is small, reaching 20 ft (5 m) in height, with a round canopy hanging to the ground. It is easily pruned to any shape.

Key Lime - The commercial lime industry is based on the `Key' lime in areas other than the United States.

Dwarfing and Freeze Hardiness Potential of Trifoliate Orange Rootstocks - "Trifoliate orange is in the same taxonomic group as other types of citrus like oranges (Citrus sinensis) and grapefruit (Citrus paradisi) but it is in a different genus."
